Why Join Toastmasters

Toastmasters is a personal development organization with clubs around the world.  When you join Toastmasters, you will develop leadership skills as well as public speaking skills.  These skills will help you in every aspect of your life.  From boosting your self confidence to advancing your career, Toastmasters is arguably the best personal development organization in the world.

The members of Toastmasters usually remain members for several years.  Many members have been with Toastmasters for decades.  Strong friendships are formed in Toastmasters. 
 

Should You Join Toastmasters

Visitors often tell us that our members are all very good speakers and wonder whether or not they would be a good fit as a member.  The answer is "yes"!  Our members all started out shy and nervous and asking all the same questions.  Toastmasters training is designed to turn nervous public speakers into accomplished speakers.  Our club is proud to have people from all different backgrounds.  Many of which speak English as a second language.  No matter who you are and what your public speaking challenges are, Toastmasters is designed to be a fun and supportive format for you to learn to be comfortable and capable speaking in front of groups.
 

How to Join Toastmasters

The first step is to figure out which club you want to join.  For some people, location matters the most.  For other people, it's more important to find a club with strong members.  Please visit one or two clubs and decide for yourself.  You are welcome to visit our club as often as you like. 

Hopefully you will decide to apply for membership with our club.  The application form is in the downloads section of this site.  Once you decide to join, complete the application and bring it with you to an upcoming club meeting.  Dues are only $20 per month plus a $20 application fee.  Since we pay dues only twice a year, your dues will be prorated depending on which month you turn in your application.
